We are an Investor in People Organisation. We believe the quality of life for people using care services is hugely affected by the way in which care staff communicate and empathise with them. Much depends on the care homes leadership and ethos and the quality of the training and support given to staff, as to the outcomes for the service user. Because of this, we are committed to our ongoing comprehensive training programme and we can demonstrate that we have this in place.
We have a dedicated Training Room at Sycamore Care Centre. From our Staff Development Programme we pride ourselves as a company on delivering a high standard of service by having a positive focus on staff training. This is achieved by extensive investment in continuous personal training and development, to ensure that the most appropriate and up to date practice is adopted.
Staff are committed employees who are qualified and attain all other relevant courses relating to the care sector. Sycamore Care Centre employs a dedicated and experienced team of professionals committed to providing you with the highest possible standards of care. These include highly qualified Registered Managers, experienced Registered Nurses, Team Leaders, Senior Care Staff and Carers; along with high quality chefs, kitchen staff and housekeeping staff.
We also employ Dedicated Activity Organisers, Handyman, minibus driver and gardeners.
We do not employ agency staff. Our own staff covers holidays, sickness and absence.
